Regularly Scheduled FACT Meetings:
FACT routinely has public meetings on the second Thursday of every other month, starting 6:30 p.m., at Ohio Dominican University, 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, OH 43219 (see directions below) or other public venues (see web calendar for details).
 
Many of FACT's get together features educational programs with guest speakers from central Ohio. Past meetings have featured presentations on back yard conservation with native plants, rain gardens, green fertilizing techniques, representatives from various Divisions of the City of Columbus, Westerville, Bexley, Ohio Department of Natural Resources staff, special environmental reports on the Alum Creek watershed, review ongoing watershed and/or land usage issues, etc. Sometimes we might head outside -  from our normal meeting place - with an on-site tour of a park, trail, land development, natural areas, wetlands, etc. along the Alum Creek river and riparian corridor with a local naturalists or guide.

Directions to Ohio Dominican University:
Effective Octobor 2007, note NEW location within Ohio Dominican University campus = Spangler Learning Center (ODU Library), Room 115.
Spangler Library is located on the southern edge of campus, along the eastern side of Sunbury Road, north of Airport Drive. Park in open lots on the western side of Sunbury (since there is no parking on the library side of campus). Cross at the light. When you enter Spangler, you are entering on the Third Floor, so you would go down two flights to first floor to access room #115. There is an elevator on that side of the building will open right across the hallway from this room.
