Alum Creek Cleanup at Academy Park

Volunteers enjoy hot chocolate before getting started on a chilly March morning, thanks to the Whitehall-Bexley Rotary Club sponsorship of the event.
Volunteers brave a narrow segment along Alum Creek and Nelson Road to remove the large amounts of garbage that accumulate here.

Volunteers help celebrate the placement of FACT’s “Adopt –an-Area” signage, seen here high on the telephone pole. The program is offered through Keep Columbus Beautiful and requires FACT to conduct three cleanups in our adopted area (along the creek between Broad Street and Bryden Road) a year.
