Friends of Alum Creek and Tributaries
ACTION PLANNING - Resources
1) The following report was published by the Ohio EPA's Division of Surface
Water (DSW) in 1999, and summarizes results of comprehensive biological
and water quality research conducted in 1996. The document details which
portions of the Alum Creek are meeting water quality standards, as well as
those that are not and possible causes of degradation. The DSW plans on
releasing an additional study in the spring of 2003. (Please note that
not all sections reflect Alum Creek data; results from Scioto River
research is also included.)
